Drop Bottom Bin for Crane
Our Model 2039 Drop Bottom Bin has been updated with eyes meant specifically for lifting by cranes. There are five sizes available from 0.65 Yards to 2.6 yard sizes. If you have forklift and crane operations and wish to have a waste or materials handling bin that works with both, these are a perfect solution. On these the opening is a hinged door that drops out when a lever is pulled. The hinged door is robust. See the video to determine if this is right for your operations.
Quality Built In!
This structure is made of 3mm steel (3/16”)welded together. The fabrication starts with laser cut plate and angles that are cut by CNC programs. The precision is exacting and the quality is consistent. The CNC programing allows us to include carriage bolt holes for castors so you can push these around where that’s useful. The thick industrial powder coating will give it a long service life. If you want to ensure it lasts several careers, we can hot dip galvanize it instead. The option isn’t even expensive. These are ASME B30.20 rated for legal use everywhere in North America.

Drop Bottom Feature
Our Drop Bottom Feature will enable you to top load whatever your like into the top. Waste, Items to be stored, granular products, or other goods. When you are ready to deliver it to the next step in the process, you can hang it over that location and release the bottom. The contents will immediately fall out and be delivered. This drop bottom feature is fast and complete every time without the need to tip the structure.
Construction Waste
As a Construction Waste Bin, these are fantastic. Load the waste in the top of the drop bottom bin. If you are on a multi family project, you can put castors on them and walk them through the building and clean out rooms. The versions to 1.3 yards are 34 inches wide. They’ll fit through exterior doors. Roll them in and out of the construction hoist. When on the loading docks, the forklift can dump them out quickly with the hinged door feature to remove the human from the dangers of dumping out the bins. These aren’t just about waste. They are great as material handling equipment for all purposes.
Open Top Box Feature
Easy loading is achieved with the open top bins. Funnels from above easily feed into these box type structures. In Industrial settings, these will efficiently provide the capacity you need to transport materials. You’ll be placing the materials quickly. The separated walls can also do well in the event you want to use these for recycling or simply separating materials that you transport in one trip. The structure allows for a stacking feature. This allows for good storage options with a forklift or a crane. They are rated to stack three units high. These aren’t just a drop bottom bin. They can be a quality bulk storage bin as well. We ship direct from Germany to Canada for Free Trade. The prices we are showing as Canadian are in Canadian dollars. The challenge is the website doesn’t provide for two currencies. We’d have to invoice you to convey that Canadian price. Reach out at sales@cranegear.net and we can get that going and provide the European price point. If you have a larger order, we can break out the price per unit and have the shipping cost as straight across without mark up. Shipping is done on a Delivery At Place terms. Local taxes will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Shipping can be chosen as a service with us on a door to door delivery, or you can set up your own logistics. As an Ex Works shipment, you would be picking it up in Germany and importing it yourself. A secondary benefit of this pricing is it shows what our prices are prior to shipping and tariff. If you are ordering several pieces, you can work out the cost for several items without compounding the shipping premium for a single item. The savings on a volume purchase is significant.

Our Canadian Customers can order directly and we can quote the shipping costs and price it out in CAD. You’ll have taxes to pay as it arrives and a tax registration number and a customs broker will be required. But we’ll be happy to invoice you directly so the banking is easy, and the shipment arrives to you as a door to door shipment.
