Tariffs -
As of February 2026 the tariff situation in the US is essentially unknown. I wanted to give our customers the quick version of what’s going on.
Our products have faced a 50% Steel Tariff under Section 232 of the Federal Codes. This tariff exempted us from the IEEPA tariffs the Supreme Court just struck down. The response of a new 15% global tariff leads to the question, “Are now at 65%, or still at 50%?”
The answer is that I don’t know. I don’t think anyone knows yet.
We will continue to deliver as if 50% is the tariff and keep the prices there. We wish we could deliver at 0% tariffs as it should be in free trade. We could deliver smoking good deals. We will continue to put our best price forward. If we need to come back to say the price has changed as an order has been put in, please know that we are doing our best to keep up with the instability of the United States.
