This Crane Man Basket serves a dual purpose in that it also works with forklift. This becomes a dual way to reach heights for working purposes. It’s a two for one deal if your company happens to need both options. We do this man basket in 2 and 4 person options. An Important point: It does not have a test weight for the crane trial lift purposes in construction in the US. Design
As a forklift work platform, these lock on to the tines automatically. When you charge the tines, an eccentric wheel grabs them and will not let got without a tool to release them. You can safely be in the basket without a safety chain or pins holding it in place. The full enclosure including grab rails and a tool tray in front will keep yours people safe. A full mesh grating on the back protects them from forklift machinery. And the roof provides overhead protection. These are far and away the best forklift work platforms available.
As a man basket for cranes, also known as personnel baskets, these do well in markets a weight test is not performed. The four way attachments provide the highest standards in attachments and exceed the 5:1 standard. They will provide all of the structural capacity you need and more as well as provide safety for your workers in hoisting with a crane. The door opens in and latches to ensure it isn’t accidentally opened. The handrails and grab rails meet ASME B30.23. A tool tray is built in to the front. The chain or wire rope lifting assembly would need to be purchased locally. When it comes to hoisting personnel, elevated platforms have many local regulations that we can’t know. Rather than trying to satisfy each location, we leave this detail to the local experts.
Lead time and Shipping
We often have many of these in stock. In the worst case scenario, the production would take 14 days. Shipment varies between ocean and air. Air is about 14 days. Ocean is up to 60 depending on your location as these ship from Germany. We can handle the logistics for you.
