The Master Link option is the one that gets you the lowest cost option.
Using our Concrete Buckets with a Forklift
Flexibility is what we do. It makes the work easy and fast. with our accessories. Our 1034 concrete buckets can come with forklift pockets. Want to pour out closure strips and stem walls with a bucket that you used to pour out the Cast In Place building? We do that. Tell us if you want the pockets to keep the gate operator in line with the fork tines or off to the side. the chute will always need to run in line with the fork tines to function well. This option is also great for Pre-Cast concrete manufacturers. Take a look the photo of the fork pockets. We add a structural connection to the tines so they don’t move in any event outside of abuse (eg. don’t test this by tipping the bucket forward to see what it takes to break and fall off.).
Optional Capacity
We do these in every half yard (technically 0.65 yards) from 0.3 yards to 5.2. There are 18 capacity totals. 1 Yard, 1.3 Yards, 1.5 Yards, 2 Yards, 2.5 Yards, 3 Yards, 4 Yards 4.5 Yards and 5 yards. (5.2, but is anyone complaining about the extra capacity? You won’t find anyone with more size capacities and accessories than Eichinger.
Leaky Bucket
If you need a solution to leaky concrete buckets, you can use the hose hanger to use gravity to stop the concrete from leaking out on those thin mixes. Our gates are tight to begin with on the Eichinger model 1034. But once you get in the habit of changing up the trunk, the leak of thin mixes at the gate will no longer be an issue.
Options
Choose from 6, 8 and 12” diameter hoppers to control the flow the way you like your attachments to work. If you want to flow quickly with your foundations or decks, the 12” hose will be for you. If you want to control the pours for your columns and walls, then the 8 hose is the right attachment for you and your material handling. Use a chute to reach into column or wall forms when that’s the right choice for control and reach.
Advantages of a Tremie
The Advantages of a Tremie in pouring concrete with our concrete buckets are numerous. When I was a tower crane operator, I found that with a chute we had to be dead on accurate. It isn’t efficient. Efficient is getting close and being able to work with the placement. With a tremie you just drop it in the wall or column and let it fly. The elevation doesn’t need to be super accurate. The centering can be off a bit. As the crane deflects when the concrete is pouring out, you don’t have to chase it with seriousness. Just keeping it in the area works. And when it comes to safety, no one’s hand is going to get pinched by the rubber hose as opposed to the chute. This is efficient, fast, easy and safe.
When it comes to columns and wall, the tremie allows you to place your working decks on the forms as you like. You can think of the job logistics versus needing to consider the crane and concrete bucket dynamics.
Safety in Design
Our Concrete Buckets are designed to exceed the ASME design standards required in construction.. You don’t need to worry about the quality when you are buying German crane attachments. But it’s also a compliance benefit to get the ASME B30.20 certification with the concrete buckets. We also exceed the ASME design standards in testing. They require a 125% load test. We test to 250% in concrete buckets. It’s incredibly practical as a practice. Safety can’t be left to just a calculation in construction. We do this for every capacity in the Concrete Buckets.
