New Version of Crane Pallet Bin
We’ve had a Double Crane Pallet Bin for years with a double gate system. They are fantastic for moving two pallets at a time with the highest level of safety. Lock the items and and they are now level and secured by steel to keep everything retained. These are good up to 6600 lbs and come with a ASME B30.20 cert.
New Crane Pallet Bin
The New version of the Crane Pallet Bin has a drop down end ramp so you can roll in and out with pallet jacks to move materials. Have it loaded with two pallets on the ground and fly up the bin in one fell swoop. Off load it quickly on the working deck with the pallet jack and send it back down to be loaded as needed.
There is a new use option for these. Loading up a multifamily project like an apartment building can be made easier with these. If you set up shackles with a larger set (say 1 - 1/8th”) on the building side and 3/4” on the far end you,
Land the ramped side in the building on a floor through a sliding door opening, or large window if it goes to the floor.
Secure in place so it can’t slide out (ie - Chain to wall anchorage).
Land it so the front shackles are just a bit slack.
Drop the ramp.
Pull out the first pallet.
Adjust the height if needed.
Remove the spreader bar if need be.
Reach out to the next pallet with the jack and roll it in next. Close the gate, free the security and on to the next load.
What they look like as Bi-Fold Gate system
This will help contractors bring in materials such as toilets, cabinets, doors, tiles, carpets, paint, etc. Each apartment unit in a common building has 25,000 lbs of stuff that goes into them from the time framing is done. These can be a way to take that weight off of the backs and knees of laborers and onto the hook of the crane. It’s faster, safer, and it creates less damage in the stairwells as well as to the finished product being delivered.
