Canadian Supply Chain Replacement

With the supply chain disruptions caused by Trump Tariffs, it’s only reasonable that Canadians would need to find new suppliers of crane and forklift attachments. Ones that can deliver at a good price point, and keep their word. US manufacturers currently expect steel prices to have risen by 35% as of the end of Q1 due to tariffs. So even without retaliatory tariffs, costs are set to rise. But not in Europe. This sounds like an opportunity for everyone. Let’s find a Canadian Dealer so Canadians can buy from another Canadian. We support elbows up and fighting the disrespect.

New Relationships

When one relationship ends, the door for a new one opens. If you’ve been buying from several suppliers to meet your needs, if one can meet it and you just have one phone call. One shipping bill. And one person to negotiate with. Isn’t that the process that will serve you best? We want to be that relationship for Canada. The rock steady supplier in a stalwart ally in the EU.

Eichinger Manufacturing for 122 years

Since 1904 Eichinger has been producing equipment. Starting with a wheel barrow with large wheels, they kept expanding the catalog to where we are today. 25,000 sq meters of factory with the option to expand further if demand emerges. Catalogs in Crane Attachments, Forklifts, Clamps, and Crane Loading Platforms gives us the widest variety of attachments you’ll find on the market. Our innovations keep pushing the market on what is possible as well. More importantly, the longevity is due to having respectful relationships that foster trust and a long commitment between supplier and buyer.

This storage section is an example of how we prepare and store product. It’s an ebb and flow space that is 12,500 sq m of space so we can respect the workforce that makes it possible. It also respects the buyer’s time in not needing to always produce each order.

Below the Hook Certifications

Our Below the Hook Certifications include ASME B30.20 with all of the crane attachments. These will satisfy about half of Canada with no further inspections needed until the first year. That’s a great value in and of itself. We load test most of our items in prototype phase to 300%. Some of the specialty items also are tested to that standard when delivered. We use TUV of Austria as a third party in conducting the testing. Compared to the North American ASME B30.20 standard that requires 300% design factor and a 125% load test, you can see the difference clearly in the confidence and standards we meet. Your people deserve this sort of protection and we deliver it.

State of the Art Manufacturing

There are a lot of suppliers that will offer you a below the hook product at a good price. Then it shows up and you have doubts about the quality. Eichinger is a state of the art facility. Laser tube cutting runs with automation. Plate cutting with laser or plasma is also CNC. When we have products we regularly produce, we have them robotically welded. The result is this level of fabrication under your powder coat. You’ll have no reason for concern with Eichinger.

We have 500 Concrete Bucket Options

Our catalog runs deep. A half dozen crane trash bins at easily 8 sizes per model. 50 options in crane trash? Innovation you won’t see anywhere else like a manhole ring clamp that lifts with some fancy geometry to set rings.

Over and over in attachment after attachment, we solve problems no one even sees. In Crane Loading Platforms we panelize the construction. The result is you can have a 14’ wide deck for a high rise that would normally need a pilot car, oversized permits and odd hours to bring it in and take it out. With ours, it’s just a normal truck fee. You pay more upfront and save for the next 30 years.

Safety & Production are Our Partners

You’ll find that our products have a keen focus on safety, but they speed up the work too. Our telehandler tipping bin is an example of this. We changed tippers that had been around for 70 years. We added structure that rotates so you don’t need the chains on them. This saves three exits per trash run with a telehandler and tipper. That’s three exits looking for injury or forklift accident as opportunities.

Our Ecology Block Clamps lock on to the sides and skip the lifting eye only meant for three lifts according to most manufacturers. Instead of finding ways to get rigging on, we make if fast and safe as a team. Canadian Safety Managers would quickly be impressed with what we bring to the table in paperwork and with the real world deliverables.

Our bins are crane rated. How many jobsites do you see with wood boxes being flown over head. Ask yourself what they are rated to hold? And who decided how much should go in them? We fix that oversight and at the same time you can stop using slings to lift the boxes because we have lifting eyes built in. Saving 2.5 minutes per lift cycle equates to $20 saved per lift cycle if your crane and crew costs $500 per hour. More importantly, that time adds up. If it’s 20% of your crane day saved, that’s an added crane day every week. That’s a monstrous savings.

It’s time for Respect and Trust for Canadians

We ship direct from Germany so we don’t have the non-sense coming from the US President. And you aren’t supporting it beyond one person in myself. You would always be able to contact me directly to deal with anything. But I’d prefer to see a Canadian dealing the equipment. Until that time, I’m available. My background is in tower cranes. I’m going to know how everything we sell works and most of the regulations surrounding them except for where it gets very localized. The relationship is another tie and redirect of spending to the EU. You gain their quality and better pricing vs what you would pay in the US. It’s most effective if we ship sizeable orders to get the best savings. It can be 40 and 50% savings versus what you have been paying if you order with volume in mind. Dealers are welcome. We’d love to have a Canadian dealer selling to Canadians with this EU connection. Let’s make the connection and get you the respect you deserve.
