Our construction hoists are rated at 7000 lbs and come with a 13’ long car. We can offer them in a 10’ and a 17’ car as well based on the modules. Construction sites use construction elevators and materials hoists to load up buildings with goods. Drywall, spools of wire, appliances and so on. All of the construction materials can go in these construction elevators. Ours also act as a personnel hoist in the construction industry. It’s a dual purpose hoist just like any other brand of hoist you’ve seen on the market.

Construction hoists are built to ANSI A10.4 standards for safety. These regulations are stringent for personnel hoists. The reality is that the structures for hoists are essentially the same between most manufacturers. We provide state of the art controls and management technology with our Construction Hoists. Call to floor is an option with Elevek. Your teams can set up controls at each floor and have the hoist run in an automated fashion without an operator in the car.
Fully Automated Operation
Our Construction Hoists can be set up to run as “Call to Floor” in their operation. This is effectively an automated construction hoist that runs like an interior elevator. When you are delivering materials, you can use the whole car as a result. You don’t have to leave space for someone to walk to the controls or the gates. You don’t have to have someone facing the dangers of being in the car loaded up with materials that could shift. Just send the hoist up, or have the person at the floor call it to them with the boxes we can provide that have controls built in. Then during the personnel travel time, the car is the priority. Anyone operating the car can take control and get to the floor they want or change directions if it’s needed.
We have delivered these options for years in materials hoists. Now with encoders in the construction hoists, we can also deliver them in this form. It meets the ANSI A 10.4 operations requirements that allows for this.

If sourced with a triple tower structure, our single car hoist can be stood up to 131’ tall without tying into the building. No more engineers signing off on the building. Then every assembly after that will feel efficient as you simply stack towers and bolt them all together. Our hoists can be expanded and contracted to suit your construction projects. Unlike some other Construction Hoists, ours can be made longer or shorter by adding or removing modules. If your construction projects are such that a 10’ car is all that will fit, you can remove modules and enclosure panels to help it fit. If you need it longer, we can add modules and panels to get it to 17 long. It’s just one more place where our flexibility with ownership will serve you better than construction hoist rental would. We have the suitable hoist configuration for any job.
North American Parts
The structure is manufactured in Europe. The fabrication factory is state of the art. robotics and automation delivers a fantastic product structurally speaking. When it comes to gear boxes, motors and the electrical controls, not only are they excellent and safety minded, the parts are easily sourced in North America. SEW Eurodrive manufactures the motors and the gearboxes. The Controls are all Schneider and are stocked and sold in the US. These suppliers also make it so that our entire hoist can be UL Certified.
Vertical Access Solutions
Vertical Transportation is critical on construction projects. Especially in high rise buildings. If your building is over 60’ from the ground floor entrance to the top occupied floor, you should be considering a personnel hoist that meets the industry standards found in ANSI A10.4. These highest standards will meet your specific requirements and specific needs. If your lifting heights are under 60’ we can supply a Transport Platform that can act as a materials hoist. Our Transport platforms can be configured to hoist people, or people and materials. For buildings under the 60’ standards, a automated materials hoist enables general contractors to push all of the subcontractor hoisting requirements back on them.
