This one is a simple way that controls the costs while letting you perform the work quickly. If a barrel is horizontal, you just line up the tines and drive towards it with the tines at the right level to lift the 55 gallon barrel, or barrels. tilt the mast back to lock the barrel in and lift if still necessary. Then you should be able to move it to the next storage location, or to turn it. To turn the barrels, set them down on the ground. Release the latch. While keeping the release mechanism disengaged, lift the fork tines. When appropriate, drive forward at the same time to control the barrels. You’ll need some operating ability to make this a smooth operation. Those experienced at this can be very quick with the process and never need to get out of the seat.
