Traffic Control & Beautification

We’ve all seen Ecology Blocks as traffic control. Temporary or permanent, it makes sense for a city of building owner to use them to guide people. But they are ugly and send a message that is simply uninviting.

Ecology Blocks are Ugly Traffic Control

Ecology blocks are cheap, and this can be attractive. Anyone can appreciate that motivation. But when you are regularly changing traffic patterns, and trying to get people to your events happy, is concrete really the best medium? What if you did it with plants and trees, and they were even easier to move than concrete blocks that require clamps, unless you are lifting them in unsafe ways?

Greetings with Planters are Always Joyful

When your citizens or patrons show up, wouldn’t it be nice to greet them with something that welcomes them and guides them to where you need them to be? When it’s time to change, you can forklift these easily to where you need them. You no longer need a crane and a rigger. One person can now do the job. And if that’s a regular occurrence, can that be a significant savings? Can the weight of the trucking be a lot less when you aren’t trying to transport 3600 lbs at a time? City Managers would do well to stop and look at the cost of transport and placement of a bin versus a concrete block. Sure, the concrete block is cheaper to purchase. But what’s the longer term operational cost of moving them?

Architects and Building Owners Benefit Too

If you are building owner with BOMA, an event facility, a Landscaper or an Architect, we can help you make the your location shine above the others that use the cold concrete as the solution. Our planters will also pay you back for decades because of how easily they can be moved with smaller trucks and one person on a forklift. Your clients will be happier as they enter your location with this small change as well. Instead of being corralled functionally, they will feel the welcome and know where to go. Let’s improve the entry and the experience with this change that can have a big impact. We can even color coordinate these so you can logo them for signage, or as another marketing opportunity.
