Concrete Bucket - Round 2 Yard

Concrete Bucket

The market delivers a lot of 2 yard round concrete buckets for cranes. There’s little difference in the function of each of them. Gate with a lever 90 degrees to the chute. The chute should be reversible, or there is a lever on both sides. Loads at under 62 inches. And that’s the recipe for a 2 yard concrete bucket. Since there are many of them out there, we should all end up at about the same price. Right?

Meme of Round Concrete Bucket costs

Round Concrete Buckets

Round Concrete Buckets have minor differences in costs. the steel is in plate and you roll it into the dimensions you need in halves/ quarters and weld it. You have your steel, shop costs and labor costs. We could say engineering, but is it much of a factor when you are 1000 units into the design? So the base bucket is $6800. Or at least that’s the going price for a 2 yard bucket. If you want to add in a chute, that’s another $1000 to $1500. For some bent up 16 gauge steel that might have a couple of welds in one end and a chain. So we end at $7800 to $8300 before shipping for a concrete bucket. It’s the cost of a basic 500cc motorcycle with Aluminum, motors, gearbox, plastics, shocks and so on. Hmmm…

Eichinger 1091 Round Concrete Bucket 2 Yards

2 Yard Concrete Bucket

This is our model 1091 2 yard Round Concrete Bucket. Reversible chute which is great for pouring walls and columns. Or remove the chute for beams and footings. Lever at 90 degrees to the chute. Loads at 58 Inches. ASME B30.20 rated. We can even put fork pockets on it at no added cost. And the cost… $2978. We do need to ship it from Germany. On a one off basis, you’ll be at $5000. If you are a larger user of these, you can order 7-8 of them and pay closer to $4000 per unit delivered. We’d have space left over and could put other things in the container as well. Crane trash skips for $3000. The shipping is already covered. Crane pallet forks at 4400 lbs for $1341. And this is what we do for volume purchases. You can literally buy two concrete buckets for the price of one in the names you know. And we’ve been doing this for 122 years, so it’s not a gimmick. It’s just a good value proposition.

We have a distinct functionality benefit with our buckets when it comes to fork pockets. The bucket below is one I have sold in the past. The loading height for a 2 yard bucket was fine at 62 inches. The added fork pocket option puts them up at 74 inches where you need to ramp the concrete truck to function. It’s a nice feature to give you a tremie hose option and the option to work with a forklift. But it does add that height.

Forklift Concrete Bucket

Alternatively, our designs that have the legs built in can be set up with fork pockets built in without adding height to the loading height. No added cost like it is with others as well. Not only can you pour in more situations, you can prep and clean the concrete bucket without tying up the crane as well. If you need a concrete bucket for your construction projects, CraneGear should be your top choice. If you a contractor that does Flatwork like sidewalks, driveways and slabs, but you also do structural cast in place work, our 1091 with fork pockets can serve both needs in one bucket. If you are working a backyard where you can’t get trucks in, instead of buying a specific bucket for your skid steer or forklift, you can just option a 1091 with fork pockets and still get those sidewalks done with one concrete bucket. We have the placement methods you need.

500 Concrete Bucket Options

We have 500 concrete bucket options. From 0.19 yards to 10.8. Our 1093 is my favorite for footings and slab pours. A 4.5 foot long gate that is 18 inches wide. It can flow. Loads at 62 inches in the 5.2 yard version. So in two loads, you can take the whole truck. And you can dump it out as fast as your forms or crane will take it. No pump truck cost. If you have the crane with the capacity, we have the bucket. Chute, tremie, or gate.
