Rent Crane Below The Hook Attachments
Rent Crane Attachments at CraneGear.net
We’re doing it. Starting next year (2026) we will be renting crane and forklift attachments that we sell. So many contractors have only some of what they need. Some construction managers or developers hardly own a skill saw, yet they need to supply all sorts of hoisting tools. Renting in some markets is indeed a challenge. We want to solve that. We want to become your single source for all long term rentals. Our whole catalogs will be available. You, you’ll need to plan ahead. But we can become that single source and grow into being a responsive rental company. Let’s take a look at what we can do.
Long Term Rentals for Savings
Finding savings in rentals can be done if we manage it well. There are a couple of drivers that make rentals expensive. Churn. Quick turnovers lead to equipment being under utilized at a rental company. This means the rates have to be high. You effectively pay rents for days you aren’t using the items through high rates. So how can we get those costs down? Long term rentals. In order to drive value to customers that need long term rentals, we’ll charge a higher rate for the first three months, then we tier down the prices to 60% of regular retail prices. In the higher costs, we will handle the shipping. You pay more for months 1 through 3, but we aren’t hitting you with a high shipping cost. If you order ten things, we’ll have baked the shipping cost down to all of those items shipping together. If you want them off of rent early, you’ll just have the shipping cost as your expense. We eliminate churn, and we have a singular location to deliver from despite covering the nation.

The Latest Crane Attachments
The challenge for contractors is multi-fold when it comes to contemporary gear. You don’t want to be bothered by sales. You have a job to do. Your equipment guys are often old timers. They answer to old timer superintendents. Super intendents have enough to worry about and the bin on the crane shouldn’t be one of them. Guys in the field always want what they know and 9/10 times will balk at something new. Put that all together and adoption of innovation is slow in construction. Our gear will save you time and show the old dogs the new tricks. When you go to the dumpster with the crane trash bin, no one needs to go with the crane operator. Instead of 7-8 minute trash runs, they are 2 minutes. Instead of getting out of the seat three times for chains and levers with forklift hoppers, you stay in the seat and save a minute per trash run. Putting two pallets in a bin with a forklift then flying them with a crane once will open up more lift cycle opportunities and save 7-8 minutes again per lift cycle.
Safety is another advantage. Our products are compliant with ASME B30.20 for Below the Hook attachments. This exceed OSHA. We then Exceed ASME by testing at 175% above what they require. Their requirement is 125%. We test to 300%. And our new designs are simply safer than virtually any alternative.
We can even supply a Rescue Cage if you want the means to fly someone out due to a medical or other emergency. One we used in the UK a few years ago to save a life. It’s a good practice to have.
Pallet Handling Safety
With proper planning ahead, our entire catalog can be made available as opposed to just some of it. We’ll have items like pallet forks with a safety net here and ready to go.
Not our usual net, but illustrative of the principle.
Clamps that Meet ASME B30.20
If you need clamps for lifting blocks, we’ll have them here, or at the factory for any special needs.
1562 adjustable and up to 8800 lbs of capacity
Innovative Crane & Forklift Attachments
And we have new things to make it tasks easier and to stop the abuse of equipment that happens in the field. If you’ve ever seen someone moving a roll off dumpster with a telehandler and a sling, you know what I mean.
Roll off dumpster hook to lift and move roll off dumpsters with your forklift safely.
Retractable Crane Loading Platforms
We’ll even rent giant items like our Crane Loading Platforms in the near future. You know what’s great about our retractables…. they have a capacity of 11,000 lbs with an outboard reach of 17’. When we say 11,000 lbs, that’s the extended rating. Many others have a rating of 11,000 when retracted. Then you see the extended rating and it’s 5500 lbs. Well who is landing on the 2 feet sticking out of the building when it’s retracted? Instead of confusing the users in the field, we just use the extended rating as our advertised rating. And with this, the confusion is over. But if you wanted a fixed or retractable deck from us as a rental, we’ll be ready about the middle of 2026 for this option.
No Fall arrest needed when it’s enclosed.
If you are a contractor that doesn’t own attachments, we are ready to become your source for rentals in 2026. Our first container of gear will be here in the second week of December. You can set up the contract and have it all ready to ship out over the holidays so it’s ready to go as you get back to work on the 1st. Reach out at sales@cranegear.net to get a quote on a package of gear to serve your job well and make it a success. And if you have specialty gear or would like items we won’t have in December, let’s plan well in advance (90 days) so we can be sure to build and ship to even the furthest locations. CraneGear can now be your source for sales or rentals of our attachments throughout the United States. We’ll sell into Canada and Mexico as well, but rentals are not planned in those locations. If you want to represent our gear, we are open to dealers as well and we are actively seeking partners at this time.
Head over to our rental page to see some of the brochures. We’ll keep populating it with products and expand virtually interminably.
