Crane Loading Platforms Panelized
Have you ever tried to ship a load that is 14’ wide? It’s a mess. You’ll need two pilot vehicles. Permits and someone that either knows the route intimately, or someone to drive it to find any hazards. You’ll likely need to ship at special hours with low traffic which means off hour loading and unloading. It can cost $5000 extra each way to ship a 14’ wide load. This makes wide Crane Loading Platforms less desirable. But we fixed that. Let’s take a look.
Logistics is one of those things that dictates how things get built when they have to ship around on roads, or even the ocean. When you get over 10’ wide, special accommodations are needed. It starts to cost a lot of money to go larger. So how do we mitigate that? With panelized construction.
We have panelized our Crane Loading platforms to they are 13’-9” wide with 17’ of outboard reach. You can also open the gates on the end if you need to accommodate a longer load. These are rated at 11,000 lbs at the center of the deck. This gives you 11’- 11” clear on the inside of the deck. When you land a truck width load, you’ll be able to still access the rigging on both sides by walking around it.
If you are looking for a deck that advertises for you instead of another contractor or rental company, we can help. If you own it, not only do you get to market for yourself, you aren’t paying rents for the next 30 years which can be 30x as expensive as ownership. Our offer, without adding in inflation is literally 1/30th of the cost of rental.
